What is Live and Dry Blood Analysis?

Live and Dry Blood Analysis is a complementary wellness screening. We take a single drop of blood from a quick fingertip prick and view it immediately under a high-powered, dark-field microscope. The live sample is projected onto a monitor so you can see your blood cells moving in real time. The dry sample observes the patterns left as the blood coagulates.

What can I learn from a blood analysis session at Mediccure?

This assessment acts as an educational tool to look at the overall health ecology of your blood. It helps identify markers related to digestive health, nutritional deficiencies, immune system activity, oxidative stress, and general cellular vitality.

Is Live Blood Analysis a medical diagnostic test?

No. In Ontario, Live Blood Analysis is used strictly for nutritional and holistic education. It does not replace standard laboratory diagnostic blood work (like a CBC or chemistry panel) ordered by a physician or nurse practitioner. We use it to guide lifestyle, dietary, and holistic wellness plans.

How long does a session take and what does it cost?

Initial Sessions last 90 minutes and cost $110. This includes a comprehensive look at both your live and dry blood samples, along with a detailed wellness consultation. Follow-up Sessions last 45 minutes and cost $80 to track your progress.

How should I prepare for my appointment?

To get the most accurate results, we recommend fasting for at least 2 to 3 hours prior to your appointment. You should drink plenty of plain water during this time so you are well-hydrated, but avoid juice, coffee, tea, and heavy meals.
