Discover Your Cellular Health
Darkfield Blood Analysis is a straightforward method for quickly and accurately evaluating more than 25 aspects of your live blood. This test can reveal vitamin and mineral deficiencies, signs of toxicity, tendencies for allergic reactions, high levels of circulating fats, liver function issues, and early indications of arteriosclerosis.
The procedure is simple and painless: a tiny drop of blood is taken from the fingertip and placed on a microscope slide, covered with a glass cover to prevent drying. Using a dark-field microscope, the sample is magnified up to 40,000 times and projected onto a monitor.
Both the practitioner and the patient can view the blood live on the screen, where the cells appear as dark shapes outlined in white. The practitioner will then examine the blood in real time, explaining what is being observed and its significance over a 30 minute LB session while the sample is still active. The dried blood analysis gives a snapshot of metabolic, nutritional, and inflammatory patterns in the blood after the live phase has passed.
It complements the live observation by revealing patterns that may take time to form or are more visible when the blood is stationary.
During the analysis, the practitioner may offer guidance on nutrition, dietary changes, and supplements tailored to the patient’s needs, and will provide written documentation of any observations and recommendations.
Follow-up testing is suggested so patients can track their progress and actually see if their interventions are making a difference. As we like to say, “the blood doesn’t lie,” since it reflects the true state of the body.
This type of blood analysis is commonly growing in popularity because it offers a unique way to observe the blood’s behavior and health inside the body.
How is LBA different from a conventional blood test?
Darkfield Microscopy offers insights into your health that traditional lab blood tests cannot provide. Standard blood tests performed at a doctor’s office or hospital have some limitations. Within just 30 minutes after blood is drawn, the cells are no longer alive, which means they cannot show certain critical information—such as real-time immune system activity.
Live Blood Microscopy, on the other hand, allows practitioners to evaluate the health and vitality of your immune system by examining the types and condition of red and white blood cells. Viewing the blood under a microscope also reveals how different body systems interact and influence overall health, making patterns and imbalances more apparent.
Unlike conventional tests, which involve drawing venous blood and analyzing it hours later after centrifuging and staining, Live Cell Microscopy requires only a tiny drop from a fingertip and examines it immediately while the cells are alive. Using high-powered lenses and modern video equipment, both the technician and the client can observe far more than ever before.
Live blood acts as a powerful “educational feedback tool,” giving people the opportunity to see the impact of their diet, supplements, and lifestyle habits in real time, encouraging positive change.
“Darkfield microscopy does not offer a specific organ diagnosis; instead its core evidence is concerned with stresses which cause illness and tendencies to disease, as found primarily in the circulatory system.” Dr. Thomas Rau M.D. – The Value of Darkfield Microscopy
FAQ:
Live and Dry Blood Analysis is a complementary wellness screening. We take a single drop of blood from a quick fingertip prick and view it immediately under a high-powered, dark-field microscope. The live sample is projected onto a monitor so you can see your blood cells moving in real time. The dry sample observes the patterns left as the blood coagulates.
This assessment acts as an educational tool to look at the overall health ecology of your blood. It helps identify markers related to digestive health, nutritional deficiencies, immune system activity, oxidative stress, and general cellular vitality.
No. In Ontario, Live Blood Analysis is used strictly for nutritional and holistic education. It does not replace standard laboratory diagnostic blood work (like a CBC or chemistry panel) ordered by a physician or nurse practitioner.
