Medical Biomagnetism

Medical Biomagnetism is a complementary therapy developed in 1988 by the Mexican physician Dr. Isaac Goiz Durán. It is based on the theory that many health problems are associated with alterations in the body's bioenergetic balance and localized changes in tissue pH (potential of hydrogen). According to Dr. Goiz, these pH alterations create Biomagnetic Pairs—two specific points in the body that resonate with one another. One point becomes relatively acidic (positive polarity), while the other becomes relatively alkaline (negative polarity). These imbalances are believed to create an environment that favors the proliferation of microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites. The goal of Medical Biomagnetism is to identify these Biomagnetic Pairs and apply pairs of therapeutic magnets with opposite polarities. According to the Goiz method, the magnetic fields help neutralize the abnormal pH of the affected tissues, restoring a more balanced internal environment that is less favorable for the survival and proliferation of these microorganisms.

The Dr. Goiz Method

Every session begins with a complete Biomagnetic Scan using the original Dr. Goiz protocol. Through a systematic scan of hundreds of anatomical points, specific Biomagnetic Pairs are identified for each individual.

Once the appropriate pairs have been located, therapeutic magnets are placed on the corresponding areas of the body for approximately 15–20 minutes. Each session is unique because the Biomagnetic Pairs found may differ depending on the person’s current condition.
